Discover how we can help you in a dental emergency

Dental emergencies can happen when you least expect them. Whether it's a sudden toothache, a broken tooth, swelling, or an accident that damages your smile, dental pain and discomfort can have a significant impact on your daily life. At Forward Dental Care, we believe that emergency dental care should never feel inaccessible or overwhelming. That's why we make every effort to provide prompt emergency appointments for both existing and new patients.

When you're experiencing a dental emergency, the last thing you want is a long wait for treatment. Our team understands the urgency of dental pain and is committed to helping patients receive the care they need as quickly as possible. We aim to provide a welcoming, supportive environment where you can feel confident that your dental concerns will be addressed promptly and professionally.

What Is Considered a Dental Emergency?

A dental emergency can include a wide range of issues that require urgent attention. Common reasons patients seek emergency dental care include:

  • Severe toothache or persistent dental pain
  • Swelling in the gums, face, or jaw
  • Broken, chipped, or cracked teeth
  • Knocked-out teeth following an accident or injury
  • Lost fillings, crowns, or dental restorations
  • Dental abscesses or infections
  • Bleeding that does not stop
  • Trauma to the mouth, teeth, or gums

If you are unsure whether your situation requires urgent treatment, our team will be happy to advise you and help determine the most appropriate course of action.

Emergency Appointments for New and Existing Patients

At Forward Dental Care, we understand that dental emergencies don't only happen to registered patients. This is why we offer emergency appointments to both our existing patients and those who may be visiting us for the first time.

What to Expect During Your Appointment

During your emergency appointment, one of our experienced dental professionals will assess the problem, discuss your symptoms, and carry out any necessary examinations or X-rays.

The primary goal is to relieve pain, identify the cause of the issue, and provide appropriate treatment or a plan for ongoing care. Depending on the nature of the emergency, treatment may be completed during the same appointment or a follow-up visit may be arranged.

Our team will always explain your treatment options clearly and answer any questions you may have, ensuring you feel informed and comfortable throughout the process.

Don't Ignore Dental Problems

Many dental issues become more serious when left untreated. What may begin as mild discomfort can quickly develop into severe pain, infection, or more complex dental problems requiring extensive treatment.

Seeking prompt attention can often prevent further complications and help preserve your oral health. If something doesn't feel right, it's always better to get it checked sooner rather than later.
